They were the clear victor by a 50-28 margin over Hendersonville Christian Academy. That's another feather in the cap for Pleasant View Christian, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Pleasant View Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gwen Carr, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Carr has scored at least 25% of Pleasant View Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Kaylee Sosh, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Pleasant View Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Hendersonville Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Pleasant View Christian won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Highland Rim Academy at 4:00 p.m. on January 12th. As for Hendersonville Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Victory Baptist Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Victory Baptist Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 20 points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
