Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Harmony Grove). Everything went their way against the Perryville Mustangs on Friday as they made off with a 15-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Cardinals sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.
Macee Tidwell made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kynley Helton, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ona Loftin, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run.
