The Woodlan Warriors extended their postseason success on Friday against the Garrett Railroaders. They walked away with a 49-36 victory over the Railroaders. Winning may never get old, but Woodlan sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Woodlan's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chloe Gaff, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Taylor Kneubuhler, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds.
Woodlan has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 17-8 record this season. As for Garrett, their loss dropped their record down to 8-16.
Woodlan won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Cadets at 7:30 p.m. on February 3rd. Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. Garrett does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
