The Fordham Prep Rams stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They really took it to Cardinal Spellman for the full four quarters, racking up a 72-41 win on the road. Winning may never get old, but Fordham Prep sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
It was another big night for Ryan Jackson, who scored 20 points along with seven assists and five rebounds. Matthew Kapfer was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with two steals.
Fordham Prep is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. As for Cardinal Spellman, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fordham Prep will face off against All Hallows at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Cardinal Spellman will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Salesian at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd.
