The Liberty Patriots will face off against the Issaquah Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Liberty is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 19-9 margin over Highline on Saturday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Patriots considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

Avery Huh made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed 1.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three stolen bases, and six RBI. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Berlyn Crockett was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Emi Connell, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Liberty always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Highline only posted an OBP of .407.
Meanwhile, Issaquah faced Eastmont in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Eagles blew past the Wildcats 11-3. Considering the Eagles have won five games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Shae Erickson (2027) spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on four hits and racked up 13 Ks.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Abby Cleveland (2026), who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Sadie Huryn (2025) was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
Liberty's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Issaquah, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-1.
Liberty's speedy runners might be the difference in Monday's contest. The Patriots have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.9 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Issaquah, though, as they've been averaging only 1.1 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Liberty continue to outrun the ball?
Liberty might still be hurting after the 9-3 loss they got from Issaquah when the teams last played back in March. Will the Patriots have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
