South O'Brien got themselves on the board against Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union last Friday, but Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union never followed suit. South O'Brien steamrollered Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union 40-0. The success made it back-to-back wins for South O'Brien.

Meanwhile, after a big victory against Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union two weeks ago, Gehlen Catholic came back down to earth. Gehlen Catholic have to be aching after a bruising 0-34 defeat to Akron-Westfield. Gehlen Catholic's low-scoring defeat was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the matchup before.

South O'Brien's win lifted them to 3-3 while Gehlen Catholic's loss dropped them down to 1-5. We'll find out if South O'Brien can add another positive mark to their record or if Gehlen Catholic can shake off the loss and take the spring out of South O'Brien's step.
