Basketball Recap: Glenn Piles Up the Points Against Argos

Glenn had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 35-point drubbing they dealt Argos on Thursday. The Glenn Falcons really took it to the Argos Dragons for the full four quarters, racking up a 49-14 victory. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 23 points or more this season.

Glenn had a senior duo take command as Daelynn Nance posted six points and three steals and Addison Reese earned six points and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Rory Winchell, who had seven points.

Glenn was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Argos only racked up three assists.

Glenn pushed their record up to 11-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Argos, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

Glenn will be taking part in a tournament against Fort Wayne Bishop Luers at 1:30 p.m. on December 27th. As for Argos, they will take on Logansport in a tournament on December 28th.
