Commack strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Copiague Eagles a 19-0 shutout. Give the Cougars' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Madison Johnston was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three stolen bases, and seven RBI. Kylie Balvin was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Commack's record now sits at 4-0. As for Copiague, their loss was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

Looking ahead, Commack will square off against Huntington at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Copiague, they will venture away from home to challenge Smithtown East at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Bulls have now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.
