On Thursday River Ridge take on Mount Tahoma at 7:00 PM. The match looks good for River Ridge since they are the big favorites in the MaxPreps state rankings.
It's always hard to lose, and it's even harder to lose by a single point. Just ask River Ridge, the unfortunate recipient of a 27-28 defeat at the hands of WF West last week. River Ridge got a solid performance out of sophomore Dontae Owens, who caught passes for 160 yards; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the victory.
Meanwhile, Mount Tahoma suffered a grim 6-30 defeat to Davis.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the win. We'll see which team satisfies that hunger and which team leaves with an empty belly.
