Hebron Academy are packing up and hiking across state lines for their contest on Saturday. They take on Portsmouth Abbey at 2:00 PM. Coming off of a loss in a game they were expected to win, Hebron Academy now face the more daunting task of proving themselves against unfavorable odds.
Hebron Academy had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 12-42 walloping at Dexter's hands. The result was totally at odds with the teams' state rankings as Hebron Academy enjoys a hefty 120 spot advantage.
Meanwhile, after a dominant win in their matchup two weeks ago, Portsmouth Abbey were humbled last Saturday. They took a hard 6-26 fall against Pingree.
The last time the two teams met, Hebron Academy and Portsmouth Abbey were almost perfectly matched up the last time the two teams met, but Hebron Academy suffered an agonizing 27-28 defeat. Can Hebron Academy avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
