Rocky Mount Academy put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 55-45 victory over the Wilson Christian Academy Chargers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Rocky Mount Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Taylor Carmichael out in front who posted 19 points. The matchup was Carmichael's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Isabella Daza, who put up seven points in addition to nine assists and six boards.

Rocky Mount Academy's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-0. As for Wilson Christian Academy, they moved to 12-3 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.
