South Dade has gone 6-1 against Coral Gables recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Buccaneers are taking a road trip to challenge the Cavaliers at 4:00 p.m. Coral Gables took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on South Dade, who comes in off a win.

While South Dade's victory against North Miami Beach wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Buccaneers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 25-22 win over the Chargers on Friday. The Buccaneers haven't had any issues with the Chargers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Coral Gables and Miami Beach, and Miami Beach kept the tradition alive. The Cavaliers took a 29-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hi-Tides on Thursday.

Coral Gables has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for South Dade, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Everything came up roses for South Dade against Coral Gables in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 38-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Buccaneers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
