The Queen Anne's County Lions won the last time they faced the Kent County Trojans, and things went their way on Thursday too. Queen Anne's County simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Kent County 65-11 on the road. The win made it back-to-back wins for Queen Anne's County.
When it comes to explaining why Kent County lost, one person who can't be blamed is Zoe Angenieux. Despite the final result, she scored six points. Angenieux scored a full 54.5% of Kent County's points, the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Queen Anne's County's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Kent County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Queen Anne's County will take on North Caroline at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Kent County will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Nandua at 1:00 p.m. on December 28th. Nandua will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 295th in Virginia, while Kent County is ranked 107th in Maryland).
