The O'Neill Raiders are on the road again on Saturday and play against the Fonda-Fultonville Braves at 12:00 p.m. on November 25th. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but O'Neill had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They walked away with a 17-7 victory over the Broncos.
O'Neill got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Marek Arbogast out in front who picked up 122 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of Chad Haley, who threw for 220 yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Fonda-Fultonville had already won 11 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.1 points), and they went ahead and made it 12 on Friday. Everything went their way against Gouverneur as Fonda-Fultonville made off with a 22-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Fonda-Fultonville, who have now won ten games by 20 points or more so far this season.
Their wins bumped O'Neill to 7-5 and Bronxville to 5-5.
