Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bishop Manogue to victory, but perhaps none more so than James Williams, who scored 19 points. Williams is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Liam Sorensen was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with two steals and two blocks.
Despite the loss, Douglas had strong showings from Jett Lehmann, who scored 16 points along with three steals and two blocks, and Caden Thacker, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that Thacker pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Trace Estes, who scored four points along with eight rebounds.
Bishop Manogue's victory bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Douglas, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-16.
Bishop Manogue will head out on the road to face off against McQueen at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. McQueen is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. Douglas will take on Galena at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
