On Saturday, Kuna made easy work of Elko and carried off a 53-32 victory.
Despite the loss, Elko still got an impressive performance from Preston Chamberlin, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The match was Chamberlin's third in a row with at least ten points.
Kuna's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-2. As for Elko, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-1.
Kuna will take on Middleton at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Middleton presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Kuna in Idaho (Middleton is ranked fifth, while Kuna is ranked 47th). As for Elko, they will head out on the road to face off against Reed at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Reed focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Tuesday.
