Last Tuesday, James Kenan came up short against Kinston and fell 61-48. James Kenan has not had much luck with Kinston recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led North Lenoir over East Duplin in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. North Lenoir walked away with a 51-39 victory over East Duplin. The win was some much needed relief for North Lenoir as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
James Kenan's defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-6. As for North Lenoir, their victory bumped their record up to 7-13.
James Kenan took their victory against North Lenoir when the teams last played back in January by a conclusive 60-38. The rematch might be a little tougher for James Kenan since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
