Cinco Ranch (Katy, Texas) extended its winning streak to five games with a 28-14 victory over
Seven Lakes (Katy, Texas) on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a
Braeden West touchdown run in the second quarter, the Cougars were up 14-7 at the half.
Cinco Ranch saw its 7-point halftime lead decrease to six entering the fourth.
CR came into the game allowing 13.0 points per game. The 14 points that the Spartans ended with were well below their average of 21.6 coming into the game.
Seven Lakes (6-2) will play a 5A Region III District 19 game against Memorial next week, while Cinco Ranch (7-1) will take on Katy also in a 5A Region III District 19 game.
