Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Langley). They blew past the Wakefield Warriors 69-40 on Monday. The win was familiar territory for the Saxons who have now won three contests in a row.

Langley was led to victory by Anya Rahman and Alice Allen. Rahman went 6 of 10 on her way to 17 points and four steals, while Allen posted 16 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ali Glantzis, who put up ten points and five rebounds.

Langley's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.8 points per game. As for Wakefield, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Langley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-21 win against South Lakes on the 17th. As for Wakefield, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Langley at 7:30 p.m. on January 27, 2025.
