Brackenridge is a perfect 10-0 against Lanier since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles will challenge the Voks at 4:30 p.m. Lanier took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Brackenridge, who comes in off a win.
Brackenridge is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by an 18-0 margin over Sam Houston on Wednesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Eagles with their most commanding win of the season.
Jordan Monroy and Andres Gallegos made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing, Monroy pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Gallegos struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Monroy also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Brackenridge is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-5 otherwise. At the plate, Monroy went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double, while Gallegos got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI Monroy has posted since back in April of 2025.

In other batting news, Brackenridge got a massive performance out of Deakon Cervantes, who went 2-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those five RBI gave Cervantes a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Perez, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Meanwhile, Lanier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Jefferson, falling 14-0.
Brackenridge has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Lanier, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.
Everything went Brackenridge's way against Lanier when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Brackenridge made off with a 17-2 victory. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Voks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
