Smithville came tearing into Friday's contest with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Rittman Indians, posting a 67-36 victory. The Smithies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Smithville's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-2. As for Rittman, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-17 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Smithville will take on Norwayne at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rittman, they and Hillsdale will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
