Thomasville has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the East Davidson Golden Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Thomasville comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last 11 games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
Thomasville suffered their biggest loss since December 12, 2023 on Friday. They took a serious blow against Lexington, falling 54-16. Thomasville has struggled against Lexington recently, as their matchup on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, East Davidson scored the most points they've had all season to find success last Wednesday. Everything went their way against South Davidson as East Davidson made off with a 58-34 victory. The win was just what East Davidson needed coming off of a 71-28 loss in their prior game.
Thomasville bumped their record down to 0-11 with that loss, which was their 15th straight on the road. As for East Davidson, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.
Thomasville came up short against East Davidson in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 51-38. Can Thomasville avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
