Brody Metting Goes Supernova in Yorktown Win
Starting off the list is Yorktown's Brody Metting, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Metting rushed for 179 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 65 yards and a touchdown.
The victory (which was Yorktown's fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1. Metting and Yorktown will head out to challenge Charlotte at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Tyler Pawelek Delivers Best Effort of Season
Tyler Pawelek produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Falls City to the win on Friday. Pawelek rushed for 109 yards and four touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Falls City, bringing their record for this year to 4-2. Pawelek and Falls City are taking a road trip to take on Shiner at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Mckenzie Yanta Crosses Big Stat Threshold
The second Yorktown player making an appearance here is Mckenzie Yanta, and for good reason. He rushed for 124 yards and three touchdowns. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (100.7). His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 120 rushing yards.
On the season, Yanta has run in 10 touchdowns while averaging 100.7 rushing yards per game.

Falls City Gets a Boost from Johnson in 48-7 Victory
The second Falls City player making an appearance here is Braylon Johnson, and for good reason. He rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, and also threw for 53 yards and a touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 103 rushing yards.
Unfortunately for Louise, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Johnson. When Johnson last faced the Hornets back in October of 2023, he rushed for 114 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 112 yards on only eight passes.

Another Yorktown player making an appearance on this list is Rylan Rau. He picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made eight total tackles (4.0 for loss).
For the season, Rau has averaged 5.8 total tackles per game and for the season has 3 sacks.
