Jonathan Blackmon and Edward McLauchlin provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Seventy-First. The connection went for 55 yards, the longest such play in 3A Conference 12 this season.
Union Pines was the team made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from sixth to second in the league. The Vikings defeated North Moore 48-6 earlier in the week.
