The Drummond Trojans can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Saturday. They breezed by Valley Christian on the road to the tune of 48-8. Winning may never get old, but Drummond sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Drummond was led to victory by Remington Cline and Kimber Parsons. Cline scored 15 points along with five rebounds and three steals, while Parsons scored 15 points along with seven steals and five rebounds. Cline hasn't dropped below two steals for 13 straight games. Lexi Nelson was another key contributor, scoring six points along with three steals.
Drummond's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Valley Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Drummond will face off against the Lynx at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Valley Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge the Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Montana (Victor is ranked 161st, while the Eagles are ranked 144th).
