South Fort Myers lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Arthur Gallishaw, who rushed for 181 yards and one score. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 155 rushing yards. Jershard Benjamin also helped out with an impressive 87 receiving yards.
Logan Flaherty had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 274 yards and one touchdown, while also rushing for 47 yards for Port Charlotte. That's the most rushing yards Flaherty has posted since back in November of 2024.
South Fort Myers' loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Port Charlotte, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.
