The Little Miami Panthers lost against the Loveland Tigers back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Little Miami fell just short of Loveland by a score of 50-47. Little Miami has struggled against Loveland recently, as their contest on Monday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Little Miami still got an impressive performance from Tess Trimble, who scored 14 points along with 6 steals and 5 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Houillion, who scored 9 points along with 6 steals and 5 rebounds.
Little Miami's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Loveland, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Little Miami will take on Milford at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Milford presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Little Miami in Ohio (Milford is ranked 80th, while Little Miami is ranked 283rd). As for Loveland, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Turpin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Turpin focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Monday.
