The Jackson Red Devils will head out on the road to face off against the Social Circle Redskins at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Jackson is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
Last Tuesday, Jackson suffered a rough 51-28 loss at the hands of Griffin.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Janyla Lawrence, who scored 8 points along with 7 rebounds. Ariyah Burke was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 8 rebounds.
Meanwhile, everything went Social Circle's way against Salem on Tuesday as Social Circle made off with a 41-18 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Social Circle.
Jada Hyman continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a triple-double on 19 points, 16 rebounds, and 10 blocks. The contest was her sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kara Lee Taylor, who scored 4 points along with 14 rebounds.
Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Social Circle, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
