Capital City entered their tilt with Battle on Monday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. Their defense stepped up to hand the Spartans an 8-0 shutout. Considering Capital City have won 11 games by more than three goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Capital City pushed their record up to 13-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those four contests. As for Battle, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.
