Spruce got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Mesoulay Williams out in front who scored 16 points. Taniah Williams was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Spruce is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for Conrad, they dropped their record down to 9-8 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spruce will take on Poteet at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Poteet has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 338 points over their last five matches. As for Conrad, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against North Mesquite at 7:30 p.m.
