The South Adams Starfires will be playing in front of their home fans against the Adams Central Flying Jets at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. South Adams is out to stop a seven-game streak of losses at home.
Last Saturday, South Adams came up short against the Panthers and fell 45-34. South Adams has struggled against the Panthers recently, as their game on Saturday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
South Adams' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Tytus Lehman, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds, and Owen Wanner who scored ten points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Adams Central can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent contest on Saturday. They breezed by Leo at home to the tune of 82-49. Adams Central's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
South Adams' defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Adams Central, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-3.
South Adams was dealt a bruising 62-35 loss at the hands of the Flying Jets in their previous matchup back in January. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point South Adams was down 36-12.
