The Des Arc Eagles will square off against the Carlisle Bison at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Des Arc sitting on four straight victories and Carlisle on three.
Des Arc barely beat McCrory the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Jaguars on Friday.

Grace Knight was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Makayla Fowler, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three RBI and one stolen base.
Meanwhile, while Carlisle put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for England. The Bison put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 18-0 win. The Bison might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by seven runs or more this season.
Tessa Sanders looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Chloe Smith was a standout: she went 1-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. MaKinnley Cook was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four RBI and two doubles.
Carlisle always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .581. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Des Arc pushed their record up to 12-6 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Carlisle, their victory bumped their record up to 13-8.
Des Arc came out on top in a nail-biter against Carlisle in their previous meeting back in March, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Bison have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
