There's no place like home for Hilton Head Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 16-6 margin over the Ben Lippen Falcons on Thursday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.

Colt Spargur looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and not a single walk). Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

At the plate, Slaide Burd and Roman Colella did most of the damage at the plate: Burd got on base in all five of his plate appearances with one home run, five runs, and two RBI, while Colella got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. Those six RBI gave Colella a new career-high. Jackson Richardson was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with four runs and one stolen base.

Hilton Head Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ben Lippen only posted an OBP of .367.

Hilton Head Christian Academy pushed their record up to 21-9 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Ben Lippen, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-3.
