Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tye Clay, who scored 24 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Clay continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jaxon Self, who scored 16 points along with two steals.
Randleman was led to victory by Tyshaun Goldston and Connor Cassidy. Goldston dropped a double-double on 24 points and 14 rebounds, while Cassidy scored 28 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cassidy has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Greg Price, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Burns and nudges their season record down to 13-13. As for Randleman, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 21-5.
Burns does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Randleman, they will stay at home for another game and welcome East Gaston at 7:30 p.m. on March 1st. East Gaston is coming into the match with five straight wins on the road, so Randleman will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
