Softball Recap: Harbor Teacher Has No Trouble Against Fremont

Harbor Teacher won the last time they faced Fremont and things went their way on Monday too. The Monarchs were the clear victors by a 15-4 margin over the Pathfinders. The Monarchs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by ten runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Candice Gutierrez, who fired off two home runs, six RBI, and three runs while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Samantha Galima, who scored three runs while going 2-for-4.

Harbor Teacher hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least three batters in three consecutive games.

Harbor Teacher's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.7 runs over those games. As for Fremont, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.
