Lansing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. The matchup between them and the Piper Pirates didn't end well, with the Lansing Lions falling 69-55. One positive for the Lions, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Lansing's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Piper, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lansing will challenge Seaman at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Seaman knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Lansing likes a good challenge. As for Piper, they will face off against Mill Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
