After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Newton Local, the Jefferson Township Broncos were happy to have found some success on Friday. They walked away with a 55-43 win over East Dayton Christian. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Jefferson Township's 17-point performance the game before.
When it comes to explaining why East Dayton Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Bradyn King. Despite the final result, he scored 24 points along with 9 rebounds. King scored a full 55.8% of East Dayton Christian's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Corbin Hyre, who scored 4 points along with 11 rebounds.
The victory got Jefferson Township back to even at 1-1. As for East Dayton Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
Jefferson Township will be home for the holidays to greet Horizon Science Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. East Dayton Christian is on the road again on Monday and play against Milford Christian at 7:45 p.m. on December 11th.
