Baseball Recap: Brady Ailshie Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Carson

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Stanly, East Rowan was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They never let the Carson Cougars get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won nine in a row.

Not much got past Harrison Ailshie, who gave up just two hits and racked up 12 Ks to keep Carson off the board. Ailshie also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because East Rowan is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 1-2 otherwise.

At the plate, East Rowan's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Brady Ailshie, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.
