Manteo and First Flight are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Manteo Redskins will be playing at home against the First Flight Nighthawks at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Manteo is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.3 runs per game this season.

Manteo is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Holmes just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Aces by a score of 8-7.

Bailey Dickerson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Bridgett Berry, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Meanwhile, while First Flight put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Northeastern. First Flight put the hurt on Northeastern with a sharp 20-0 victory. The Nighthawks haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

First Flight's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Manteo, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-2.

Manteo might still be hurting after the 7-1 loss they got from First Flight when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Can Manteo avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
