Bonsall has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Gompers Prep Academy Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bonsall has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 212 points over their last three games.
Bonsall has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 20 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Julian 74-47 at home. With Bonsall ahead 48-15 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
It was another big night for Kaimana Levy, who scored 24 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. The match was his sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Winebrenner, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Gompers Prep Academy, who are still winless after their fifth contest. They lost to High Tech NC on the road by a decisive 54-40 margin on Thursday.
Bonsall's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for Gompers Prep Academy, they have fallen quite a ways from their 18-6 record last season and are now at 0-5.
Bonsall suffered a grim 80-57 defeat to Gompers Prep Academy when the teams last played back in February. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Bonsall was down 52-24.
