Volleyball Recap: Etna Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Etna waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Anderson Cubs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

While Etna won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-22, 25-12.

Etna's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Anderson, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Etna will head out to face off against Hayfork at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Anderson, they will venture away from home to challenge Redding Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
