Wilmot has struggled against the Panthers recently, as their contest on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Great Plains Lutheran's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Myles York led the charge by scoring 18 points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points York has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Heil, who scored 12 points along with five steals.
Wilmot has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Great Plains Lutheran, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wilmot will take on the Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
