After both having extra time off, the New Hope Leadership Academy Gladiators and the Whale Branch Warriors will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another on December 26th. One thing working in New Hope Leadership Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
Even though Providence Athletic Club scored an imposing 57 points last Tuesday, New Hope Leadership Academy still came out on top. New Hope Leadership Academy managed a 62-57 win over Providence Athletic Club.
It was another big night for Sugar Eaton , who scored 24 points along with five rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of New Hope Leadership Academy's points. Trey Hampton was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Meanwhile, Whale Branch was just a bucket shy of victory last Tuesday and fell 45-44 to Battery Creek. Whale Branch has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
New Hope Leadership Academy now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Whale Branch, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
