When it comes to explaining why Sumner lost on Tuesday, one person who can't be blamed is Isaiah Williams. Despite the final result, he scored eight points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. Ayden Dushing was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Gaither's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rico Kindred, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayce Humphries, who scored 15 points.
Sumner has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-7 record this season. As for Gaither, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-10.
