Volleyball Recap: Calvary Day Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

Calvary Day won the last time they faced Liberty County and things went their way on Thursday too. The Cavaliers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Panthers.

Calvary Day easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-10.

Kinsey Prado paced Calvary Day's offense, picking up 13 kills. Prado got some help from Alaina Moultrie and her 18 assists. Alyssa Gibson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Calvary Day has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Liberty County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season.

Calvary Day has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Groves on the 11th. As for Liberty County, they will take on McIntosh County Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
