They put the hurt on the Lafayette Hornets with a sharp 9-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Fightin' Tigers, who have now won six matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Kendall Carter made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
