Stephen Kovacs made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 5.1 strikeouts per game. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.
