In other batting news, Christian Stefankis was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with five RBI, three runs, and a stolen base. Wyatt Sparbine was another key contributor, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, four RBI, and a stolen base.
Union Area's record is now 3-1. As for Western Beaver, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2.
