They came up short against  the KIPP San Jose Collegiate Wolfpack, falling  10-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolfpack this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  25-2  back in April.

 Luis Valdez Leadership Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  America Martinez, who  went 1-for-2 with two  stolen bases and one  run. Martinez is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last three games she's  played.
As for KIPP San Jose Collegiate, their victory  ended  a  four-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 3-6. Considering they have won three matchups by more than seven  runs this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
 On KIPP San Jose Collegiate's side, they got a  massive  performance out of  Gladys Hernandez, who  went 3-for-4 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alicia Espino, who  went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  triple.
 Luis Valdez Leadership Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for KIPP San Jose Collegiate, they will take on El Primero at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Wolfpack's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lobos have averaged an impressive 12  runs per game this season.
