After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mountain Vista, Arvada West was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They breezed past the Monarch Coyotes to the tune of 52-0. The Wildcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Arvada West didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Hadlie Pugliese and Vivian Brenkert.

The win got Arvada West back to even at 2-2. As for Monarch, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Arvada West wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 25-0 victory against Northglenn on the 30th. As for Monarch, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-0 win against Steamboat Springs on the 30th.
